Volunteers Required – Poppy Pageant and other related events

SEEKING ADULTS AND OLDER YOUTH, ANY GENDER, TO ASSIST WITH SETTING UP, RUNNING AND TAKING DOWN OF THE POPPY PAGEANT AT THE RUGBY CLUB

14th, 15th AND 16th OF SEP 2018

Any help you can give would be appreciated.

FRIDAY 14 SEP 2018

Start 1000 hrs.

General team work, set-up, getting equipment ready. Putting up signs etc.

SATURDAY 15 SEP 2018

From 1200 – To 1420 hrs. QUEEN ELIZABETH HUMANITIES SCHOOL

Car park usher – just making sure people park correctly.

Assisting people catch the Free Shuttle coach from the school TO THE Rugby Club.

SATURDAY 15 SEP 2018

Start 1000 hrs.

POPPY PAGEANT PARADE at the Rugby Club

Final last minute se-up and then:

To assist with running areas during the afternoon:

Control Desk POC (& to support Emergency Services on site)

Help and Information Desk

Marshalling

Safety and Security (Health and Safety, Risks)

Dedicated Traffic, transport and parking Manager on main gate

Control and safety of Pedestrians at main gate

Car Parking Control at the Rugby Club (Tennis court)

Ushering

Lost and Found

Vulnerable Adults care of

Disabled/Wheelchair Champion

Lost children

All working as one team. THERE WILL BE ALL SORTS OF JOBS SO PLEASE VOLUNTEER AND HELP US OUT

Also need help on the RBL stalls, tombola, bran tub, Poppy for Loved One etc.

(Event starts at 1430 and finishes late afternoon)

SUNDAY 16 SEP 2018

Start 1000 hrs. (Couple of hours max).

A team required please to help the taking down of this event and litter picking – again general team work

We have already identified 2 volunteer drivers for the FREE mini bus service but would ask for another volunteer as a back-up. (Volunteer has to have a clean Licence, D1 not required)
